1. Anyone wishing to adopt an animal must submit an application
a. Applications will consist of a minimum:i. Information about the facility where the animal is to be kept ii. Information about the care to be provided iii. Background of applicant1. How many previous animals cared for 2. Types of animals cared for 3. Any problems with animals and how handled 4. Experience with type of animal adopting 5. Vet to be used for animal 6. Farrier to be used for animal 7. Housing available for animal 8. Feed to be used for animal 9. Plans for animals use (i.e. show horse, work horse, riding, guard dog, etc) 10. Why they want to adopt an animal 11. How animal is to be transported
2. For applicants lacking some required items:
a. Spoiled Acres Rescue Inc will make an attempt to help an otherwise qualified applicant get the required items.
3. Applicant facilities will be subject to inspection by one or more members of the board.
a. Inspections will be preformed without prior notice. b. Inspections will include fencing, housing, etc inspections
4. Once an applicant is approved:
a. An agreement will be signed for the following conditions;i. No barbed wire fence will be used around animalsii. Animals will be cared for appropriately iii. Animals will have regular vet and farrier care iv. Each animal will have a requirement sheet based on the individual animal. These requirements must be agreed to. v. For up to two years after adopting an animal, inspections may be made at any time by Spoiled Acres Rescue Inc board members. vi. During the two year period, the animal may be reclaimed by Spoiled Acres Rescue Inc board members if the animal is found to be in a situation that is not suitable.1. Non-suitable situations include by are not limited to:a. No being fed properly b. No vet care c. No farrier care d. Inappropriate fencing e. Inappropriate facility f. Not meeting the requirements of the animal adopted
5. The applicant will be required to pay a small adoption fee to cover the expenses incurred for the animal while in the care of Spoiled Acres Rescue Inc. This fee will no create a profit for Spoiled Acres Rescue Inc and will be based on the care that the animal required when obtained by Spoiled Acres Rescue Inc. All expenses incurred by Spoiled Acres Rescue Inc. will be tracked for each animal and will be available for inspection by Adoptee or agent.
6. At any time the adoptee needs to find another home for the adopted animal, they will return to Spoiled Acres Rescue Inc and get assistance with finding another home.
7. At any time that the applicant has questions or needs help with adopted animal, Spoiled Acres Rescue Inc will be contacted.
8. Spoiled Acres Rescue Inc will not be held liable for any injury or damage incurred from adopted animal.
9. All animals will be available for inspection prior to adoption.
10. Spoiled Acres Rescue Inc will not be held liable for any injury or damage incurred while on Spoiled Acres Rescue Inc property for inspection of animals.
