Spoiled Acres Rescue

Salem's mother was dumped at a friends house. When I used to visit he would come running up to me. They had named this kitten Salem. I told them one day that I was going to take that kitten home with me if he kept coming to me when I visited. I was told to take him, as they needed to get rid of all of the kittens. I did not even hesitate, the kitten when straight to the car and straight home.

That was in 1998. He has been with us ever since. I can't remember why we started calling him Bubby, but we did. He will answer (or not answer, you know how cats are) to either name. Salem is solid black. He spends his days sleeping on the back of the couch looking out the window.
